This print, titled "The City of Boston" is a bird's eye view lithograph of Boston, Massachusetts designed by Parsons & Atwater and published by the New York firm Currier & Ives in 1873.
This historic print observes the city of Boston from the northeast and includes a variety of key buildings and localities that are identifiable in the lower margin. While this print was designed in 1873, interesting it does not show any of the destruction resulting from the fire in November of 1872.
